Basketball Recap: Lawrence Central's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Lawrence Central had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 60-57 victory from a begrudging Bears squad. For they, this counts as revenge for the 62-49 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lawrence Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Terry Walker, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Albert Gooden Iii, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points.

Indianapolis Crispus Attucks' loss on Tuesday came despite strong showings from Chris Hurt and Ronisone Thomas. Hurt went 6 for 15 on his way to 16 points in addition to five assists and three steals, while Thomas put up 13 points and eight boards. Hurt has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Kayden English was another key player, putting up ten points.
