There's no place like home for South Williamsport, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Mifflinburg Wildcats 7-1 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Mountaineers, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

South Williamsport's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Mifflinburg, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 15-4 record.

South Williamsport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mifflinburg, they will host Penns Valley Area at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
