Softball Recap: Taft Eagles vs. St. Laurence Vikings        
        
		
            
 Taft put the finishing touches on their 18th blowout victory of the season  on Wednesday. They never let the St. Laurence Vikings onto the board and left with  a   12-0  victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Taft considering their one-run performance the  matchup before.
  Joselyn Ulloa was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sadie Moussa, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Taft is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record  this season. As for St. Laurence,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 15-10.
 Taft will be playing at home against Warren Township at 4:45  p.m.  on Friday. As for St. Laurence, they will head out on the road to  take on  Downers Grove North at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Downers Grove North's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6  runs per game  this season, so St. Laurence's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
