Gulf Pointe Latin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maya Vaughn led the charge by putting up five points and seven steals. The dominant performance also gave Vaughn a new career-high in assists (three). Rebekah Thompson was another key player, going 5 for 8 on her way to 13 points.
