            Baseball Preview: Riverside Warriors vs. Hurricane Redskins        
        
		
        
        
            Riverside is 0-10 against Hurricane since March of 2016 but things could change  on Thursday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to  take on the Redskins  at 6:00  p.m. The last three games Riverside has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Wednesday, Riverside didn't have quite enough to beat Spring Valley and fell  3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by  exactly two  runs.

 Jayden Sparkman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on ten hits. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Riverside is 2-1 when he allows at  most  two  walks, but 4-7 otherwise.
 At the plate, Riverside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Caden Lipscomp, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2. Lipscomp also put up a  double, which was his first of the season.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Hurricane). They put the hurt on Capital with a sharp  21-2 victory on Tuesday. The  win was nothing new for the Redskins as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hurricane, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
 Riverside might still be hurting after the  16-0 defeat they got from Hurricane  when the teams last played  back in March of 2022. Can the Warriors avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
