Football Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

St. John fell victim to Versailles and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Tigers 35-0. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

St. John's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Versailles, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. John's is set to challenge their familiar foe Marion Local at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Versailles will take on rival New Bremen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
