Baseball Recap: Eufaula Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Eufaula proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Valley Rams 3-1. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Rams on their field since March 22, 2022.

Eufaula's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for Valley, their loss ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Eufaula Tigers take on Beulah Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley, they will square off against Headland at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Headland will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
