Baseball Recap: Donelson Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Donelson Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 19-5 to the Davidson Academy Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Donelson Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Davidson Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Donelson Christian Academy will square off against Nashville Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.93 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Davidson Academy, they will host Ezell-Harding Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
