Basketball Recap: Eli Cox Key Part of a Team Effort in Rockets Win

On Saturday, the Rochester Rockets beat the Staunton Bulldogs 55-46.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rochester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eli Cox, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khorbin Gregory, who put up seven points.

Rochester was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Rochester has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Staunton, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Rochester is taking a road trip to face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. As for Staunton, they will host Pawnee at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
