Volleyball Game Preview: Mission Bears vs. Burlingame Panthers

The Mission Bears will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Burlingame Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burlingame took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mission, who comes in off a win.

Mission picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Kelseyville by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Burlingame's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Lincoln by a score of 2-1. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Burlingame's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Mission, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Mission came up short against Burlingame in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Mission avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
