Basketball Recap: Gramercy Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Colin Vick and Malachi Tribble

Gramercy Christian lost against Epiphany back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gramercy Christian Warriors fell to the Epiphany Falcons 61-56. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Malachi Tribble and Colin Vick certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Tribble dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards, while Vick went 7 of 12from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Tribble a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Diego De Hoyos, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Gramercy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Epiphany, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-7.

Gramercy Christian will face off against Bethel Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Epiphany, they will challenge Liberty Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
