Basketball Recap: Tustin Takes a Loss

Tustin has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tesoro Titans on Monday. The Tillers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Tustin's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Tesoro, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tustin will challenge Portola at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Tustin is facing Portola at the right time seeing as Portola is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Tesoro, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against El Toro at 6:00 p.m.
