Willow Glen came out on top against Leigh on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Rams took their matchup against the Longhorns 7-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Lyla Aguayo, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Camryn Eggers, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Willow Glen's record now sits at 20-6. As for Leigh, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Willow Glen nor Leigh have any future games scheduled.
