Estacado has gone 9-1 against Sweetwater recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Estacado Matadors will venture away from home to take on the Sweetwater Mustangs at 5:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Estacado and Big Spring finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Sweetwater managed to keep up with Pecos until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Sweetwater lost 5-1 to Pecos. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Sweetwater's goal came courtesy of Joel Vazquez, who's now up to three this season.

Sweetwater's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. Estacado's draw makes their record 1-2-2 this season.

Everything went Estacado's way against Sweetwater in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Estacado made off with a 4-0 victory. Will Estacado repeat their success, or does Sweetwater have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
