Football Recap: Great Crossing Comes Up Short

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Great Crossing was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 47-7 loss at the hands of the Corbin Redhounds. The contest marked the Warhawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Great Crossing is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Corbin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Great Crossing will venture away from home to take on Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Shamrocks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Corbin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
