Softball Recap: Tylertown Comes Up Short

Tylertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the St. Patrick Fighting Irish, falling 17-0. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Fighting Irish when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tylertown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for St. Patrick, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

Coincidentally, Tylertown and St. Patrick will both be playing Perry Central the next time they take the field. The Chiefs will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Fighting Irish will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
