Basketball Game Preview: Highland Tech Rams vs. East Gaston Warriors

Highland Tech is 2-7 against East Gaston since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Highland Tech Rams will head out on the road to take on the East Gaston Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Wednesday, Highland Tech had to suffer through a 57-17 loss at the hands of Bessemer City.

Meanwhile, East Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were dealt a 60-19 loss at the hands of Burns.

East Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Highland Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Highland Tech took their victory against East Gaston in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 44-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Highland Tech since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
