Volleyball Recap: Bunker Comes Up Short

Bunker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ellington Whippets, falling 3-0. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Whippets since Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-12.

Keira Turnbough paced Bunker's offense, picking up six kills. Turnbough got some help from Hadley Martin and her ten assists.

Bunker's loss dropped their record down to 10-20-4. As for Ellington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Bunker nor Ellington have any future games scheduled.
