Soccer Recap: Snow Canyon Falls Short Against Ranked Desert Hills

Snow Canyon faced Desert Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 2-1. Snow Canyon were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Desert Hills apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Snow Canyon's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Desert Hills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Snow Canyon will head out to square off against Pine View at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Snow Canyon are facing Pine View at the right time seeing as Pine View are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Desert Hills, they will host Hurricane at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Desert Hills' defense better be ready for this one: Hurricane have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
