Wake Prep Academy can attribute much of their success to Zanasha Bolden, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards, and Beanie Ballman, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 14 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Ballman is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Olivia Langton, who posted six points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

Wake Prep Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive contests.

Falls Lake typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Warren County proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Firebirds 57-43.

Wake Prep Academy pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Warren County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
