Volleyball Recap: Peshtigo Comes Up Short

Peshtigo was the 2-0 winner over Crivitz when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Camryn Brissette paced Peshtigo's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brissette got some help from Skylyn Baxter and her 13 assists. Neela Sotka controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Peshtigo's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Crivitz, their record now sits at 20-9.

Peshtigo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sheboygan Christian on the 18th. As for Crivitz, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran on the 18th.
