McCracken County faced Marshall County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Marshals with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

McCracken County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Marshall County, their defeat dropped their record down to 30-6.

Looking ahead, McCracken County will face off against Hickman County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Mustangs have won 11 straight at home dating back to last season, while the Falcons won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Marshall County, they will venture away from home to take on Madisonville-North Hopkins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
