Buena Vista came into Monday's match having lost 23 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Benson Bunnies on Monday as the Buena Vista Bison made off with a 14-3 win. The victory was just what Buena Vista needed coming off of a 22-3 defeat in their prior contest.

Owen McAdams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). McAdams was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base.

In other batting news, Oswaldo Heredia-Reyes was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Max Duran, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
