Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Estancia). They put the hurt on the Orange Panthers with a sharp 15-3 victory on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Nico Viramontes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Sean Sweeney and Miles Dodge did most of the damage at the plate: Sweeney went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Dodge went 2-for-5 with two runs and one double. That's the most runs Dodge has posted since back in March. Athan Perez was another key player, going 1-for-5 with three RBI and one run.

The Vanguards' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
