It was a good run, but Ragland unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 13-9 to the Gadsden City Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 back in March.

Jesslyn Carlise spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and 11 unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, Kyra Elliot and Hadley Elliot did some serious damage despite the final result: Kyra scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Hadley scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kylie Layton, who went 1-for-5 with three RBI and one double.

Ragland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Gadsden City, they moved to 8-23 with that win, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Ragland will venture away from home to take on Saks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gadsden City, they will square off against Albertville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
