Volleyball Recap: Carbon Hill Falls Short of Winfield in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carbon Hill can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winfield Pirates on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Carbon Hill's loss dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Winfield, they pushed their record up to 11-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Carbon Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Gordo on the 16th.
