Volleyball Recap: Northridge Beats Granger Christian for Their Third Straight Victory

Northridge waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Granger Christian Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Owen Holmes paced Northridge's offense, picking up 20 kills. Holmes got some help from Rhyan Otto and his 33 assists. Bryant Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Northridge and Granger Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Raiders see the court they'll take on Fort Wayne Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Granger Christian, their break will end when they face South Bend Saint Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on May 8.
