Football Game Preview: Junction City Tigers vs. Philomath Warriors + How To Watch

The Junction City Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Philomath Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Junction City is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Junction City didn't have too much trouble with Sweet Home as they won 24-7.

Zaidensen Dodson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 121 yards and one TD. Madix Waldrop also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Junction City proved: they limited Sweet Home to a paltry three yards per carry. The Tigers' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.3.

Meanwhile, Philomath humbled Cottage Grove with a 33-6 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Junction City's record is now 4-2. As for Philomath, their record now sits at an identical 4-2.

Junction City came up short against Philomath when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 42-34. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
