Soccer Recap: Danville Gets the Win

While Danville didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the St. Thomas More Sabers by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Wednesday.

Reese Rundle and Liliana Dowers scored all three of Danville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

The win made it two in a row for Danville and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for St. Thomas More, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Danville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Charleston on the 12th. As for St. Thomas More, they will square off against Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
