 The Manteo Redskins will head out on the road to  challenge  the Northeastern Eagles at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Manteo will be strutting in after a  win while Northeastern will be coming in after a  loss.
 Manteo scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Cape Hatteras with a sharp  23-0 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  win of the  season.
  Drew Brown and  Trevor Sawyer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Brown   struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Sawyer   struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). At the plate,  Brown  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles, while  Sawyer  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Wyn Wheeler was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 5-for-6.  Jose Brown was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Northeastern fell victim to a  rough 13-3 defeat at the hands of Camden County  on Wednesday.
  Cayden Dudley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Carter Stevenson, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base, a  double,  and  an  RBI.
 Manteo's victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 5-11. As for Northeastern, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record  this season.
 Manteo took their  win against Northeastern  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  13-5. Will Manteo repeat their success,  or does  Northeastern have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
