Baseball Recap: Winters Mill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Francis Scott Key on Monday, Winters Mill came back down to earth. The Falcons fell just short of the Century Knights by a score of 10-9 on Wednesday.

Chase Seigal made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Ben King also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Winters Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Century, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5-1.
