Berkshire entered their tilt with Kirtland on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hornets a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Badgers have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Berkshire's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Kirtland, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkshire will head out to take on West Geauga at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kirtland, they will venture away from home to square off against Beachwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets are facing the Bison at the right time seeing as the Bison are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
