Basketball Recap: Burroughs Comes Up Short

Burroughs was the 66-49 winner over Apple Valley when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Burroughs Burros fell 73-60 to the Apple Valley Sun Devils on Thursday. The Burros just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Apple Valley, they moved to 8-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burroughs will venture away from home to challenge Serrano at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Apple Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Sultana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apple Valley is facing Sultana at the right time seeing as Sultana is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
