Football Recap: Harrisburg Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Harrisburg's offense. They were outmatched by the Carterville Lions and fell 39-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Lions are ranked 89th).

Jonathan Miller produced another solid performance rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry for Carterville. Miller is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 118 every time he's taken the field this season.

Harrisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Carterville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Harrisburg has already played their next matchup, a 40-21 loss against Murphysboro on the 10th. As for Carterville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-7 victory against Massac County on the 10th.
