Softball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Rams vs. Elgin Comets
Upper Scioto Valley had lost 11 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 4-9 to make it 12. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elgin Comets. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Comets from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
Ashlyn Downing and Audrey Lawrence did some serious damage despite the final result: Downing went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, while Lawrence went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
