Softball Recap: Turner Takes a Loss

Turner fell victim to Reedy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against Reedy, falling 14-0. Turner just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Turner's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Reedy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Turner will face off against rival Wakeland at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Reedy is set to square off against their familiar foe Highland Park at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Lions' favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while the Scots have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
