It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Braden River can now relate to. They lost  3-0 to Port Charlotte on Wednesday. Braden River's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 Chloe Pogoda paced Braden River's offense, picking up 13 kills. Pogoda got some help from  Mia Mcguire and her 23 assists. Pogoda was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
 Port Charlotte was led to victory by  Sammi Jo Colburn and  Cora McGinnis.  Colburn  had ten  digs and four  assists, while  McGinnis  hit 70% for seven  kills and 33 assists and 15  digs. The last time  McGinnis'  hitting percentage was this high was  back in September.
Braden River's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Port Charlotte, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-16.
 Braden River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Port Charlotte, after both having extra time off, they and Chiles will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on November 7.
