Molina piles up the points against Jefferson

The Molina Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 28 points or more this season. They blew past Jefferson 61-13 on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-8.

Molina's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Theayah Guidry led the charge by scoring 19 points. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which Guidry has scored at least 25% of Molina's points. The team also got some help courtesy of T'erricka Gassaway, who scored 15 points.

Molina's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 10-7. As for Jefferson, they bumped their record down to 3-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Molina will take on South Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Oak Cliff is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to face off against Kimball at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kimball has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
