Football Recap: Mitchell Skates Past Sheffield with Ease

While Mitchell put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Sheffield. The Tigers blew past the Knights 44-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their six-point performance the game before.

Mitchell didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Julius Drain. Mitchell received some extra help from Xayvier Brown, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Mitchell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.3 points. As for Sheffield, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Mitchell nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
