Softball Recap: Stevens Point's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Stevens Point managed to slip by D.C. Everest the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 7-1 to the Evergreens on Tuesday. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Kaitlyn Klismith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Stevens Point fell to 3-1. As for D.C. Everest, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Stevens Point will face off against Neenah at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for D.C. Everest, they will take on Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Evergreens surely won't give up without a fight.
