Pinnacle Classical Academy piles up the points against Challenger

The Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season. They really took it to Challenger for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-11 victory on the road. With Pinnacle Classical Academy ahead 26-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinnacle Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Akeelah Davis, who scored eight points along with 19 rebounds and six assists. Those 19 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Price, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Pinnacle Classical Academy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Challenger, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Pinnacle Classical Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lake Lure Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. The timing isn't great for Lake Lure Classical Academy: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Pinnacle Classical Academy has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. Challenger does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
