Volleyball Recap: Jenkins Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Jenkins had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the New Hampstead Phoenix by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Jenkins can attribute much of their success to Emily Carter, who had 13 assists and three aces. That's the most aces Carter has posted over her last six matches.

Jenkins' win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for New Hampstead, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Jenkins will face off against Liberty County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Hampstead has already played their next game (against St. Andrew's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
