Tranquillity hasn't had much luck against Firebaugh recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Tranquillity is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Kings Christian hit Tranquillity with a six-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders.

Julian Dominguez put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Dominguez wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Gabriel Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with one run. Charles Gabaldon also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, Firebaugh came up short against Monache on Monday and fell 6-3. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly three runs.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Tranquillity, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 4-7.
