After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hayfield, Annandale was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mount Vernon Majors by a score of 49-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-24 back in January.

Annandale's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Mount Vernon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Annandale is set to square off against their familiar foe Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mount Vernon will challenge rival Edison at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
