Recap: Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors vs. St. John Lutheran Saints
This season hasn't been kind to the Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They took a hard 49-35 fall against St. John Lutheran on Friday. Hart 2 Hart Academy found out winning isn't easy when your three-point shooting is a whole 26% worse than the opposition.
Despite the defeat, Hart 2 Hart Academy saw an underclassman step up: Daniel Bliffin scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds. Bliffin scored a full 28.6% of Hart 2 Hart Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
St. John Lutheran's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cannon Patrick, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bryce Disimile, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Hart 2 Hart Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. John Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hart 2 Hart Academy will challenge First Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. St. John Lutheran and Meadowbrook Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
