After a string of eight wins, River Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. Neither they nor the Dodgeville Dodgers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept River Valley happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 8th.

Alana Merritt and Elizabeth Baumberger scored both of River Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

River Valley's draw gives them a new season record of 10-1-3. As for Dodgeville, they moved theirs to 3-2-1.

Coming up, River Valley will square off against Richland Center at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. River Valley will be up against Richland Center's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Dodgeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
