Montgomery Central had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Clarksville Academy Cougars out 9-8. The win was just what Montgomery Central needed coming off of a 17-4 defeat in their prior match.

Dylan Fulton made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. Fulton was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
