Basketball Recap: Chaparral Finds Home Court Redemption Against Animas + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Chaparral, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Animas Panthers by a score of 38-29 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Lobos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mckenna Tassie and Charlee Wright certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Tassie shot 83% from the field on her way to 12 points and eight boards, while Wright posted 12 points.

Chaparral's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Animas, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Chaparral didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-39 win against Bosque on the 5th. As for Animas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 34-20 victory against Hatch Valley on the 5th.
