Palmyra-Macedon put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Penn Yan Academy/Dundee 29-12. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Red Raiders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Penn Yan Academy/Dundee are ranked 138th).

Palmyra-Macedon had a senior duo take command as Camron Quick threw for 115 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine passes and James Mack III picked up 38 receiving yards and two scores. Quick didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble, made two total tackles, and defended one pass.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Palmyra-Macedon's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. They got some further help from Johnny Knaak: he picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Palmyra-Macedon's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Penn Yan Academy/Dundee, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Palmyra-Macedon will take on Lyons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Penn Yan Academy/Dundee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
