Soccer Game Preview: Summit vs. Mountain Range

The Summit Tigers will face off against the Mountain Range Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Summit's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Summit managed to slip by Eagle Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Devils on Wednesday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Mountain Range unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to Boulder. While losing is never fun, Mountain Range can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Boulder are ranked fifth).

Mountain Range's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Summit, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.
